As senior content designer, I got to flex the problem-solving side of my brain and tackle a wealth (pun intended) of financial user problems in all shapes and sizes, from conquering credit card debt to staying up-to-date on spending.
I worked with cross-functional (product, design and engineering) teams to build, measure, and iterate on experiences and tools that help NerdWallet’s 1 million+ members make everyday financial decisions with confidence.
Hey, that sounds pretty rad. Can I see more of your work? Just get in touch and I’ll be happy to walk you through my thinking, process, and project details.
NerdWallet mobile app
Get a clear view of your money so you’ll always know where you stand — and what your next move could be.
I’ve helped evolve both the product voice and UX of the app across all areas: from push notifications and updates to new features and onboarding flows.
Foundational content work
From marketing landing pages to in-app features, the NerdWallet voice conveys our personality, values, and company mission.
As a senior member of a small (yet mighty) copy team, I’ve spearheaded several projects to evolve and inform how our brand voice comes to life in product. Examples include —
- Prototyped and tested different takes of our brand voice in product
- Created a tool to help define product narrative and UI hierarchy
- Collaborated with product design and product management partners to create a set of mobile-first design principles
- Standardized copy and components as part of an ongoing collaboration with our design system team.
This is the nerdy work I love doing: not only does evolve the voice of our brand, it also helps our team write consistently and clearly.
